Background

Fifteen years on every side of the medicine supply chain

Sesan qualified as a pharmacist and spent his early career in community practice, where the gap between a prescription being written and a patient actually taking the medicine became impossible to ignore.

He went on to serve as Regional Sales Manager at Pharmaplus, working inside the distribution layer that decides which medicines reach which parts of Nigeria and at what price, and as Personal Assistant to the President of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria, which gave him a direct view of the regulatory and professional forces shaping the sector.

That combination of dispensing counter, distribution network and regulatory table is why HubPharm was designed as chronic care infrastructure rather than a delivery app. The failure was never that medicine did not exist. It was that nothing coordinated its journey to the patient.

What Sesan works on at HubPharm

Access programme design

Designing the coordinated care programmes that keep patients on chronic therapy, including refill scheduling, adherence follow up and the clinical pathways behind them.

Hospital and HMO partnerships

Building the institutional relationships that let HubPharm sit inside a patient existing care rather than alongside it as another disconnected service.

Clinical content standards

Setting the standard for the medicine information published on this site, and writing on pharmacy practice for Pharmanews and other professional publications.

On the information you read here. Every medicine page on this site is written against manufacturer prescribing information and recognised clinical references, and dispensing is supervised by our Superintendent Pharmacist. You can read how we write and check it in our editorial and medical review policy.
