Tecentriq 1200mg injection is an anticancer medication containing the active ingredient Atezolizumab which belongs to the class of medicine called monoclonal antibody (Mab). It is indicated to treat cancer in the bladder, lungs, liver, and breast. Mab is a type of protein, to get attached to a specific target in the body. This antibody helps the immune system to fight against cancer. This medicine is used as adjuvant therapy (treatment after surgery) for lung cancer conditions where the cancer is not spread to other body parts. It is either used alone or with a combination of other anticancer medicine.

Do not take a Tecentriq 1200mg injection if you are allergic to Atezolizumab or other medicine ingredients. This medicine is not recommended for children and adolescents. Also, notify if you have been given any live, attenuated vaccine, antibiotic within the two weeks, or any medicine to improve or suppress your immune system. Report your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to get pregnant. Use effective birth control during and even after the treatment for five months.
